This online instructor-led course designed by MHFA England trains you as a Mental Health First Aider, giving you:

  • An in-depth understanding of mental health and the factors that can affect wellbeing

  • Practical skills to spot the triggers and signs 

  • Confidence to step in, reassure and support a person, especially in crisis

  • 3-year access to the MHFA App giving access to support for you and those you support at a local and national level. You'll also get 3 years of access to the online Manual with updates via the learning hub.

  • Enhance interpersonal skills such as non-judgemental listening

  • Knowledge to help someone recover their health by guiding them to further support - whether that’s self-help resources, through their employer, the NHS, or a mix

  • A holistic course that will empower you to support yourself and others.
     

After the course, you can choose to complete a separate exam which will 
give you a Royal Society for Public Health 
Level 3 qualification.

Matthew Streuli is an accredited Instructor Member, approved by MHFA England
to deliver Adult MHFA courses.

We deliver this course in two styles.

Two Full Days - One session each morning and afternoon (9am to 4:30pm) normally on consecutive days.

Mornings Only - One Session in a set day in the morning at 9:30am over 4 consecutive weeks.

MHFA England training provides participants with the skills and confidence to recognise the signs and symptoms of common mental health issues and hold safe and effective wellbeing conversations.

TERMS

This is an MHFA England course delivered by Matt Streuli, an independent sole trader as per the information at the bottom of this website. It is only available to adults located in the UK.

50% of the course fees are due at the time of booking. This is non-refundable but in extreme circumstances, we may agree to move your booking to another date provided by us. The remaining 50% fee is due at least 1 week before the first session. If full payment is not received we reserve the right to cancel your booking and refuse any refund.

Prior to the course, you'll be sent Joining Instructions via email. This will clarify the course layout and provide the links needed to access the Online Learning Hub, called Enabley. You will need a stable broadband connection, webcam, speakers and microphone and a suitable computer with an internet browser. Google Chrome works best.

After you have completed the course, including the individual learning, you will recieve a MHFA England certificate.
